Lyndon Walk - Specialist Dementia Bungalows
Available at Lyndon Walk, Blyth from the end of July 2025; 13, 2 bedroom specialist bungalows for social rent designed for residents and their carers with a Dementia\Alzheimer's diagnosis.
The bungalows will benefit from a number of design features such as level access at the front and back of the properties, widened doorways for wheel chair use, a lockable medicine cabinet in the kitchen, wet rooms and a two way telecare scheme.
Eligibility criteria:
In order to be eligible for these bungalows, residents must have a Dementia\Alzheimer's diagnosis confirmed by their GP. The bungalows will be allocated via a specialist panel. To make a referral or to find out more about the bungalows, please contact lyndonwalkreferrals@northumberland.gov.uk
