Seaton Delaval is a popular residential area, North of Whitley Bay and within a 10 minute drive to the coast. The village has a number of shops, cafes, pubs and takeways, with direct bus/train services to Newcastle, Ashington and the coast . The area is also quite rural, with quiet walks, whilst there is easy access for cars to the A189 and A19.
