Advertising Properties

We will advertise the properties that we have available to rent each week from 00:01 on a Thursday until 23:59 the following Monday.

You can find out about these properties here:

  • On this website by clicking on 'Property Search' 

  • Contacting Northumberland County Council's Customer Experience Team on 0345 600 6400

  • Visiting any NCC Customer Information Centres

The advert will tell you who the landlord is, the location, size and rent of the property, as well as information about the area and other features of the property. They will also tell you about any special eligibility requirements, for example if there is a minimum age requirement.  

Where available a photograph of the property or a similar house type is provided.

 

Expressing your interest in a property

To apply for a property you must tell us that you wish to be considered for it. You may only apply for a property that is suitable for your family size.

You can express your interest or bid, as it is also known, in one of the following ways:

  • Online through our website. Login using your housing application reference number, memorable date and password

  • Contacting Northumberland County Council's Customer Experience Team on 0345 600 6400

  • Visiting any NCC Customer Information Centres

You can only bid for 3 properties per cycle but please only bid for a property if you would accept an offer of a tenancy.
